Reality Woes

       Ok, Jon and Kate….I hate that I am even blogging about this…..the fact that their story, which is of no significance to many of us, is captivating the headlines is disturbing to me. And what I find even more disgraceful is that it is an actual topic of discussion on the news, primetime news! This story is all our “renowned” journalists have to discuss? The wars, human rights, starving/abused children, everyday heroes, are apparently not as news worthy as, Jon & Kate??? I am not sure what I find more appalling; the fact that these two individuals use their kids as pawns for a paycheck or the fact that more Americans know Jon & Kate’s story like the back of their hand, but can’t have an intelligent conversation about current, true newsworthy events…..wake up call people!
