Alright, today’s topic is one that drives me INSANE!!!! Paying for my luggage to travel! R-E-D-I-C-U-L-O-U-S!!!!
Our great air providers used the climbing gas prices last summer to further profit in a down-ward falling economy. So, maybe they instituted the additional price for what they thought was a justifiable time. So why is it, gas prices hit an all time low, yet we are still paying for our bags to travel???? Why not help stimulate travel and remove the fee??? And charging for peanuts??? When do we as consumers put our foot down and say, “Enough”?
Once upon this great nation, we stood together to rise against being taken advantage of….remember the Boston Tea Party??? I think its time for us to exercise our First Amendment right and scream at the top of our lungs, “we aren’t paying for our luggage to travel, and I am not buying your $5 peanuts anymore”!!!
To my knowledge, Southwest Airlines is the only air carrier that offers descent pricing, free peanuts and free fly’n bags (and no, I get nothing from Southwest for saying so). Try and use Southwest when traveling and please let us all know of carriers that offer the same.
